Privacy Policy.
Information about the processing of personal data collected through the website, contact form, technical logs and privacy-first statistics.
This page describes the main processing activities connected with browsing, privacy preferences, the contact form and local statistical measurement. The configuration is maintained according to principles of transparency, proportionality and minimisation.
Data controller
The data controller is InformatiCH Sagl. For data-protection requests, you can use the Contact form or email consulenza@informatich.ch.
Scope and applicable law
Processing is organised in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is taken into account when it applies to the specific activity or relationship with the user.
Data processed
The website may process data provided voluntarily by the user and technical data generated while browsing.
- first and last name;
- company or organisation;
- email address;
- telephone number, if provided;
- area of interest and message content;
- privacy choices, authorised categories and the date the preference was last changed;
- requested page, date and time, source, device, operating system, browser and approximate location, when technically available;
- technical data in server logs, which may include IP address, User Agent, requested resource, request outcome and security information;
- an anonymised IP address subsequently transformed into a non-reversible identifier with a daily salt, used by WP Statistics to count visitors.
The complete User Agent string is not retained in WP Statistics reports and activity by authenticated users is excluded from statistics. This configuration does not remove any technical server logs, which are used separately for security and diagnostics.
Contact form
Data sent through Contact Form 7 is used to respond to the request, understand the need expressed, prepare any requested pre-contractual steps and manage subsequent communications connected with the same request.
The form is not currently connected to reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, EU CAPTCHA or advertising tools. Data is not used for unsolicited promotional communications without a valid basis or the data subject’s explicit choice.
WP Statistics
The website uses WP Statistics in client-side mode to understand which pages are viewed, check how content performs and measure visits in a limited, non-advertising way.
- cookies, browser cache and localStorage are not used to identify visitors;
- the IP address is first anonymised and then hashed;
- the salt changes daily and prevents recognition of the same visitor across different days;
- the browser’s Do Not Track preference is respected;
- authenticated users are excluded;
- the data remains in the website’s WordPress database and access is restricted to administrators;
- automatic email reports, marketing add-ons and advertising connections are not active.
Purposes and grounds
- Responding to requests: managing contact and the pre-contractual measures requested by the user.
- Operating the website: functioning, security, abuse prevention, maintenance and diagnostics.
- Improving content and paths: limited statistical analysis without advertising profiling.
- Remembering preferences: retaining the privacy choices needed to respect the user’s decision.
Where the GDPR applies, processing may be based on steps taken before entering into a contract, legal obligations, the legitimate interest in the functioning and security of the website, or consent for optional services.
Retention
- Contact requests: for the time needed to respond, manage the relationship and meet any legal or administrative obligations.
- Privacy preference: the technical cookie is set for up to 12 months; the localStorage copy remains until the user resets it or clears browser data.
- Detailed statistics: 180 days. WP Statistics then retains only aggregated visitor and view totals and deletes the detailed rows.
- Technical logs: for the limited period needed for security, diagnostics and infrastructure management, according to the server and technical provider configuration.
Recipients, providers and transfers
Data may be processed by authorised InformatiCH Sagl personnel and by providers strictly necessary for hosting, infrastructure, email, security and website maintenance.
Providers receive only the data needed for the service they perform. If processing or a transfer takes place in a country without protection recognised as adequate, the safeguards required by the applicable law are adopted.
Security
InformatiCH Sagl adopts proportionate technical and organisational measures, including access control, updates, encrypted connections, backups and restricted privileges. However, no system can guarantee the absolute absence of risk.
Automated decisions and profiling
The website does not use exclusively automated decision-making processes that produce legal effects or similarly significant consequences for the user. Advertising profiling systems are not active.
User rights
Users may request information about processing, access, correction, deletion or restriction of their data and, where the conditions are met, delivery or portability of the data and withdrawal of consent.
Users may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, the competent supervisory authority.
Updates
This policy is updated when services, plugins, providers, purposes or data flows change. The date shown at the beginning indicates the latest substantive review.
